Right after landing in Malaga we drove straight over to Ronda.
A city that dates back to a 9th century Islamic trading center, protected by virtue of being perched atop cliffs and inter-connected by incredible arched bridges.
Until Christians captured their water source at the base of the cliffs. Then the mosques became churches.
After hours walking up and down the city under the relentless sun, and before driving to Sevilla, we made some time for cliffside coffees.
After a half-awake but beautiful drive to Sevilla, we found ourselves locked out of our Triana apartment for longer than we would have liked.
This apartment.
Which does come with a rooftop patio.
After finally washing up, we found our third wind and made our way around to sampling the neighborhoods, food and beer in Triana. But now 40 hours on from when we started, we are ready to crash!
