Day three in Florence was an Uffizi Gallery day. There is of course a plethora of famous renaissance paintings by artists like da Vinci, Bottacelli and Vorrocchio but more than anything else it seemed the paintings were either idealized self portraits of the rich or commissioned depictions of: a) baby Jesus; b) crucified Jesus which after six hours gets redundant (thus no pictures of the paintings). I am assuming the other parts of his life are left out to make it easier to twist - at least that's how we role in the States.
After resting our 'dogs' as Amanda calls them we returned to the Piazza Michaelangelo for dinner, wine and of course some more gelato on the way home.
For our final fay in Florence we still don't have any plans (Michaelangelo's David maybe?) so we are taking suggestions from our friends and family...
