(Munich, Germany) Munich does sprechen Sie Englisch

Today was our last day in Munich (Munchen and we can't figure out why we don't just call it that - it's not that hard) so we figured we would let a bit of their technical skills rub off on us at the Deutsche Museum. Follow that up with a trip to the Olympic Park, the Bier Garten and a few more beers and we are forced to call it a wrap in Bavaria.

Itinerary update: we don't remember if we shared this but our original plan called for Florence as a next stop. We have made a change and instead we will be spending the upcoming few days in Bologna where we have high hopes for authentic food, wine and culture.

Olympic Stadium and the previous home of Bayern.  Why couldn't they just beat Chelsea?!?! Full disclosure, we are sore Tottenham supporters.

Grounds around the Olympic grounds.

Another view of the Olympic Stadium, and gathering clowds.

Sitting out the rain in the omni-present gardens.

Marienplatz at night, and our last view of Munich.

The rain stopped, but we stayed!

More bier and restaurants.
